Medal Displays

Collecting the race medal after accomplishment of a race is an important part of races for most racers. However, race finishers rarely wear the race medal more than one day after the race is complete.  Instead of just placing them in a closet or a shoebox, there are many ways to display medals for yourself and others to view.  

Here is a picture of a display that we built with oak wood, and engraved plates, for the medals for each of my 50 state half marathons.  We did this work by hand, custom.  We didn’t have any blueprints or kit or instructions to follow.  (include pic of 50 state display) 

Here is a much simpler display using a dowel rod and some wall hooks.  (include pic)

There are several companies who sell race medal display racks, and there are companies that sell individual displays (frames) for significant races such as Boston Marathon.
