Below are other clothing items you may need during running, depending on the climate where you run:

  • Wicking / breathability (removing moisture and avoiding chafing)

  • Ability to keep cool during hot running conditions

There are several reputable running clothing brands.  I recommend consulting with a local running store to determine what works best for you.

Helpful Tip

It is a good idea – especially before long runs – to lubricate areas of body prone to friction or chafing  – with Vaseline or with a body lubricant such as BodyGlide.  It is also helpful to cover body parts prone to chafing or bleeding with bandaids before your run.
