Tools Available at AskRunGuy 

Welcome to AskRunGuy– a website that provides Resources and Answers for Runners of All Levels.  AskRunGuy strives to build and grow knowledge, enjoyment, and passion within the running community, and to provide answers and resources for runners of any experience level. 
 
Within AskRunGuy, there is a Tools option where guests can view and download PDF files for free. This area of AskRunGuy contains sheets and templates that are useful for planning and tracking run-related activities.

Travel related tools include:

  • The AskRunGuy Packing List is useful when packing for destination runs.  
  • The AskRunGuy Run Travel Logistics sheet is a great place to record details of your race and travel information.
  • The AskRunGuy Run Journal Template can be used to record some basic information about each race you complete.

Training planning and race results tools include:

  • The AskRunGuy Pace Chart tool can be used to predict finish times for various race distances based on a per-mile pace.
  • The AskRunGuy Personal Records and Annual Miles tool is a great place to record your personal best times at common race distances.  Also, track trends in your total running mileage per year.    
  • The AskRunGuy Race Results Tracker can be used to track race results, locations and conditions for your various races.
  • The AskRunGuy Training Weekly Tracker is a great place to record weekly training results and specific workout or cross-training notes. 
  • The AskRunGuy Training Countdown and Taper Example shows how to use the AskRunGuy Training Countdown and Taper Schedule tool for tracking the weeks and days until race day and planning your taper time leading up to your marathon.
  • TheAskRunGuy Training Calendar is a great place to track actual and planned mileage.  There is also a place for notes.
